I am so excited to share all of my knowledge and expertise in my Beginners Microblading Course and help you grow in your skills and confidence as an artist!
My Beginners Course will provide a very thorough and in-depth coverage on stroke patterns, manual hairstroke technique, manual shading, proper depth & retention,
as well as an overview of sanitation, and business tips.

In this 4-Day Course, I will teach you all the skills & secrets it takes to become a successful Microblading Artist! Each Beginner Student will have the opportunity to work on 2 live models with Katie's direct hands-on supervision.
​
Each Beginner Student will be required to complete the Self-Study Portion of the class BEFORE the first day of Hands-on training. This includes reading and taking notes on the full course manual, and complete several worksheets and stroke pattern practice latex before the first day of class.
All worksheets must be approved by Katie before moving on to the next worksheet.
If a student fails to complete all worksheets and latex practice before the first day of class, your deposit will be forfeited and must be re-paid before choosing another class date.
The self-study portion may take up to 72 hours to complete BEFORE class starts.

State Licensure Info
In the state of Virginia, you must be licensed by DPOR in order to work as a Microblading or Permanent Makeup Artist.
​
This course DOES NOT provide VA State licensure, but is suitable for those who have already obtained a license by the State Board, and are in need of additional training in order to become confident in your craft!
​
You may also take this course before state licensure, but again you MUST take a licensing course in order to work in VA. This course IS sufficient to work in most other states, so please check with your state BEFORE signing up for this class.

There are several institutes, schools, and academies that are offering the 90-hr course in Virginia that are required to take the State Board Exam and gain licensure, but are teaching students nothing but poor quality materials and sub-standard curriculum,
instruction, and skills. If you're feeling discouraged, or unprepared after taking another course,
please know that your are NOT alone, and I'm here to change that!

ALL STUDENTS must obtain a Blood Bourne Pathogens Certificate BEFORE their course date in order to participate in the Model Portion of the Course.

Enrollment
Once you have selected your desired course dates, please contact Katie via text or email to receive the Training Agreement and pay your initial deposit invoice of $500. This is a non-refundable deposit used to secure your space in the class. You may transfer your date one time only to another class up until 14 days before your class start date, or you will forfeit your deposit and need to pay again before choosing another class. The balance of your course is due 14 days before class begins, and is non-refundable. Course must be paid online by credit/debit card, or cash may be brought to the studio. No checks, money orders, or venmo/paypal will be accepted. Students must attend all 4 full days of training in order to receive their certificate.
